The work referred to as the single storey timber extension involves a new bathroom, laundry, and open-plan kitchen and dining space, arranged in an L-shape around an outdoor deck, with stairs leading down to the backyard to accomodate the slope of the land. The work referred to as the additional timber structure is detached from the primary structure, and positioned at the rear of the block, accomodating a flexible bedroom / office space with ensuite, and small workshop / shed. Between this extension and addition is an enhancement of the existing landscaping, incorporating native grasses and low-lying floral shrubbery.
